Cookie Policy
Version of 25 August 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies covered by this policy include browser local storage. Storing information on your device, or reading it, requires your consent unless it is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for (art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive; art. 399–400 of the Electronic Communications Law).
The operator of the Site and controller of the data collected through cookies is Glanit, Swędowska 47, Warsaw, Poland, info@glanit.com.
2. Strictly necessary (no consent required)
Session cookie (*_session) — keeps your session while you browse and protects forms; deleted when you close the browser or after 2 hours of inactivity.
XSRF-TOKEN — protects forms against cross-site request forgery; lifetime as the session.
glanit-theme (local storage) — remembers your light/dark theme choice; until you clear it.
glanit_cookie_consent (local storage) — records the choice you made in the cookie banner so we do not ask again; until you clear it.
These are set by the Site itself and are never used for tracking.
3. Analytics (only with your consent)
Provider: Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Purpose: aggregated statistics on how the Site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, traffic source) so we can improve it. IP addresses are truncated/anonymised by the provider; we do not use the data to identify you and we do not use advertising features.
Cookies set (Google Analytics 4): _ga — distinguishes visitors, 2 years; _ga_ — keeps session state, 2 years.
Cookies set (Yandex Metrica, where used): _ym_uid — distinguishes visitors, 1 year; _ym_d — date of first visit, 1 year; _ym_isad — ad-blocker detection, 2 days; _ym_visorc — session replay, 30 minutes.
No analytics script loads and no analytics cookie is set until you click "Accept all" or enable "Analytics" in the settings. The provider's own privacy information: Google — https://policies.google.com/privacy; Yandex — https://yandex.com/legal/confidential.
4. Your choice and how to change it
On your first visit a banner offers "Accept all", "Reject all" and "Settings" with equal prominence. Rejecting is one click and leaves the Site fully usable. Your choice is stored for 12 months; we ask again after that or when this policy materially changes.
You can withdraw or change consent at any time: click "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page. Withdrawal stops further collection; data already collected in aggregate form is not affected.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge each provide instructions under "privacy"). Blocking necessary cookies will prevent parts of the Site from working.
5. More information
